Karen is a registered nurse with almost 30 years of nursing experience. She completed her nursing education in her home state of Pennsylvania. Being a military spouse, she has travelled extensively and has had the opportunity to work in many different areas. At Healy Plastic Surgery, Karen will be the nurse prepping you for surgery, circulating during surgery, and caring for you as you wake up in the recovery room. Her goal is to make you comfortable and to make sure you are confident in knowing how to care for yourself once discharged.

Karen is the proud mother of two college-aged sons who enjoys running or hiking through the great outdoors on her off time. She also loves to cook, travel, and get lost in a good book.
